On the other hand, the PA are increasingly tarnished in Palestinian eyes as collaborators, while Hamas is seen as resistance. The terrorist label is a problem but is not an insoluble one – after all, Mandela and the ANC were terrorists in the eyes of the South African authorities and those sympathetic to them but this eventually lost its potency.
It could also be argued Israel was founded by terrorist organisations like Irgun and LEHI.

hamas has little appeal in Gaza today; IJ has increased in popularity, Hamas declined due to their ubiquitous corruption. Hamas/IJ are absent in West Bank and hamas murdered vast numbers of PA in Gaza. their disunity has been an asset for Israel
What misleading headline……
I beg to differ. It is NOT the responsibility of China or Russia to step in and do the heavy lifting in Palestine, that the Muslim people’s of the World, should be doing. Ask yourself, How many Muslim nations there are on this planet, then ask yourself, “why are none of these nations banding together to aid their very own brothers and sisters “? IF, their religion is as they claim it is supposed to be, doesn’t that OBLIGE them to aid them ? Why the silence from these nations ??????????? They should hang their heads in shame.
Two state is not a solution, and facts on the ground make it more and more improbable each day. If Israel is “the only democracy in the ME” why not stop treating all people under its control as beasts without rights and give everyone equal civil and economic rights, not to mention basic human rights? What do they fear? I’m not even talking about restitution of goods and assets looted from civilians during the 1948 and 1967 wars…
