“Either We Have Freedom or We Don’t” — Bolsonaro Rails Against Provincial Vaccine Passports

Must be nice to have a President who is not a Fascist

”The people who most accused me of being a dictator are the ones who are doing it now.”

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro offered stern warnings against the vaccine passports being implemented in some of the country’s cities, explaining that he believes the passports will lead to “population control” on behalf of powerful interests.

Speaking in Portuguese in a translated clip posted to Twitter by Daily Veracy founder Vince James, President Jair Bolsonaro warns that governors of large Brazilian cities, including Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo will issue decrees via the vaccine passport system. “Only those who are vaccinated can go to school, only those who are vaccinated can do such a thing, those who are not will not, would you issue a decree in this regard,” asked Bolsonaro to a member of his government. The man said no.

“Either we have freedom or we don’t. And the story says that anyone who gives up a part of their freedom for security, ends up without freedom and without security,” asserted Bolsonaro. He then warned that if cities accept the vaccine passport, “another requirement will come soon, and another and another, and you know where it will stop then?” Bolsonaro explained, “Population control. The people who most accused me of being a dictator are the ones who are doing it now.”

Currently, around 250 municipalities in Brazil have imposed vaccine passports on their residents, covering around 10% of Brazil’s population, and Bolsonaro’s allies have pledged to join his fight against the passports. In Rio de Janeiro, the vaccine passport became required and was almost immediately struck down by a judge who considered it “too divisive” for the large city. This judge’s decision was reversed, and the vaccine passports are currently reinstated in the city while the issue is taken to the country’s Supreme Court, a body regularly accused of being politically polarized, with too much power held by judges holding leftist political views.

Brazilian politics have grown increasingly divided, with President Bolsonaro’s lax COVID-19 policies remaining a hotly contested issue. While some parts of the government embraced the Brazilian president’s views on COVID-19, other parts have embraced COVID-19 policies seen in Europe and Australia. Recently, this led to federal police storming a soccer match between Brazil and Argentina to detain multiple players over COVID-19 rules.

Bolsonaro recently argued against vaccine passports while at the United Nations. In defiance of United Nations policies, Bolsonaro attended the recent event in New York despite not being vaccinated himself. Having previously recovered from COVID-19, Bolsonaro offered to show proof of having COVID-19 antibodies. Bolsonaro has previously said he will be the last person to be vaccinated in Brazil.

And he’s almost alone in the Brazilian establishment on this matter. Only a handful of officials and politicians have stood up for the principles of freedom of movement and medical freedom. Amongst them, a judge from Rio de Janeiro recently stopped the vaccine passport in that city, but was overruled by the Supremem Court:

Freedom is not free. If you are not willing to fight and die for it you won’t keep it. You can cry constitution all day long but no piece of paper is going to stop bad people. And are you really going to trust the ‘Justice System’ of the same government that is trying to kill you? Good luck!

So, how one goes about convincing people it’s the government that is the bio-weapon and not some random flu?

Governments have people ‘believing’ there is a killer disease out there even though there is overwhelming evidence from the CDC and WHO that is not so.

Why is it so important that they believe rather than accept the facts staring them in the face. No one is dying,,, all their friends and acquaintances are still among the living. The only ones dying is those that take the killshot. And then they blame the unvaxxed!

You really have to love those that claim they had the Rona. How did they know? Doc told them so. How did Doc know? Because a known scam of a test came back positive. That the CDC said they were dropping the test,,, said only 5-6% of all the deaths were actually positive,,, it doesn’t matter. The lemmings will not believe their own gods!

The scenario…. A healthy person takes the killshot and a week later dies or comes down with some weird disease. The actual bug people worry about takes much longer to manifest itself yet the cult blame the unvaxxed which makes no sense at all. Even had they caught the disease from another person it would have taken longer to kill them and with a 99.9% survival rate it’s doubtful they would have even known they had it.

People actually go to the hospital,,, allow the doctors there to anesthetize them, shove a pipe down their throat and inject one of the most expensive killer drugs on the market,,, remdesvir. Remdesivir attacks the kidneys and lungs causing the lungs to fill up. The ventilator having nowhere to pump the oxygen blows out the lungs and the poor bastard dies of — wait for it — Covid! In fact a study of remdesivir had to be stopped early because it was killing too many people.

Apparently today, not enough of us are dying which is why governments are requiring a third and fourth killshot booster.

Government has never chosen to benefit the people over itself.

Even if it appears to doing so it will still benefit more than the people.

Surprise! Bolsonaro IS a dictator. Just because he now espouses a populist line does not make him a progressive, and he’s not. Western leaders cautiously accepted him because they absolutely wanted to get rid of real populist leaders like Dilma Rousseff, who thought nothing of blowing off the United States when she learned its intelligence agencies were tapping her phone, canceling a state visit because of the revelation. Also on Washington’s shit list is former president Lula da Silva, and Bolsonaro is all the way across town from these two on both policy and sovereign association with western partners; he is the darling of the moneyed elites who like being rich in a poor country, and have no objections to growing richer.

Politics makes strange bedfellows, and observers should be careful about getting into bed with Bolsonaro just because he takes a controversial stance on a hot topic; he could reverse himself at any time, and what he says he believes quite often has no foundation in what he actually does. He looks like a hero now because the allegedly-progressive western governments have lost their minds in a drunken lunge for absolute power over their citizens, and are plainly encouraged by the high percentages who beg for even more being bossed around because they love to feel like they are unselfishly sacrificing for ‘their community’. But that’s only because western governments are no reliable standard for comparison.

If you’re going to have a dictator – make sure you get a good one.

Bolsonaro might be one to watch…

Fortunately this CIA stooge has alienated most of even his own anti environmentalist, hyper capitalist, criminal support base. He will be dragged from his throne soon and get what he deserves.

In what parallel universe is the CIA stooge Jair Bolsonaro not a fascist?

This is the reason I abandoned this site for SouthFront. The obsession with covfefevirus have driven the editors crazy.
