CNN Confirms Western-Backed Opposition Is Carrying out Sabotage Against Belarusian Railways
Remarkable stuff. When official Belarusian state dispatches started talking about saboteurs targeting its infrastructure I feared it might be an example of post-Soviet paranoia but now CNN confirms it (starts at 3 minutes 58 seconds):
CNN doesn’t confirm the other reported aspect of this activity which is that according to Minsk these saboteurs are sneaking in from Ukraine and are aided by NATO regimes. If the attacks continue it is only a matter of time until western intelligence services get in on the action, if they aren’t already. Then we’re back to a rerun of the 1940s and 1950s when the CIA was recruiting exiled ex-UPA and inserting them into western Ukraine for intelligence-gathering, sabotage, and propaganda (as did briefly the Third Reich before them).
