Another 4500 (!) railway cars moved for the Russian military overwhelmingly in the western and southern direction this week (after the record 5200 last week), but do not worry, because the Russian MoD is taking great efforts to document and publicize the pullback of one (one!) unit from Crimea to the Northern Caucasus.
MoD never bothered publicizing the transfer of this North Caucasian unit to Crimea (or of any other unit going west), but the transfer back east — of the first unit to undertake the eastward trip — is extraordinarily well-documented:
Imagine that, there’s even a brass band waiting for them! Well, war has surely been canceled now, and a “withdrawal” is really in place!
MoD is also reporting the withdrawal of one other unit (from the 1st Tank Army) north to Nizhny Novgorod (without videos), but again that has to be taken in the context of other assets moving west. And more importantly in the context of the MoD trying to keep the focus on the few units moving east even though those are exceptions to the rule.
I can’t even call this “maskirovka” anymore, this is really more properly deemed “trolling”. Is anyone actually supposed to buy this??

I talked to my associates in Donbass, and Russia last night (U$ time). The Ukes are attacking, in mass, along the line of contact with the main thrust being to develop penetration between Donetsk, and Luhansk. Donbass forces are unable to hold, but are retreating in good order. Ukrainian forces are also shelling both civilian, and military targets inside of Donbass. Take it for what it’s worth to you, but this is first person, timely information.
