Climate Change Claims Its 4th Footballer in a Week

We just carried a report that 3 footballers had died of heart issues in a single week. Marin Ćaćić, age 23, in Croatia on December 23. Mukhaled Al-Raqadi, age 29, in Oman on December 22. Ahmed Amin, age 24, in Egypt on December 22.

But climate change is a tireless killer and a 4th footballer has now died of heart issues inside the same week. Algerian Sofiane Lokar, age 30, died after collapsing with a heart attack during a match.

We can’t start having climate lockdowns and eating Karl Schwab’s dried cockroach feed to save young footballers fast enough.

To be fair, in Lokar’s case he suffered a suspected head injury during a collision with his own goalkeeper ten minutes before he died, so perhaps in his case climate change was not to blame? (Albeit I don’t know if suspected concussions are able to produce heart attacks?) Should we hold up on eating bugs for just a little bit longer, or get right to it, just in case?
