Trump Calls Fauci “an Idiot” and a “Disaster,” Says “People Are Tired of COVID”

He's not wrong

Trump predicted victory but said he wouldn’t have said that a few weeks ago

President Donald Trump disparaged infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci on a call with campaign staff, tearing into experts as ‘idiots’ and saying Americans are ‘tired of COVID.’

In an election upended by the coronavirus, the president vented about lockdowns and Fauci in particular, after the expert has expressed increasing frustration with the lack of direction on social distancing and mask wearing that Fauci says could save thousands of lives.

The foul-mouthed tirade came as U.S. coronavirus infections appeared to be experiencing another spike, with 220000 Americans dead of the disease already.

‘People are tired of Covid,’ Trump said on the leaked call.

‘People are tired of hearing Fauci and these idiots, all these idiots who got it wrong,’ he said, going further than in public comments where he has undermined current health directives by pointing to indecision from experts early in the pandemic.

Trump called Fauci a ‘disaster,’ but revealed he believes he cannot fire him.

‘Every time he goes on television, there’s always a bomb, but there’s a bigger bomb if you fire him. This guy’s a disaster,’ Trump vented.

‘Fauci is a nice guy,’ Trump said of the career civil servant, who has spent months cautioning Americans about avoiding large gatherings and indoor spaces through TV appearances. But complained: ‘He’s been here for 500 years.’

Fauci, 79, has spent decades advising U.S. presidents on disease outbreaks, and became a known public figure during the outbreak of the AIDS epidemic.

‘If I listened to him, we’d have 500,000 deaths,’ Trump fumed about Fauci, without offering evidence.

‘People are saying whatever. Just leave us alone,’ said the president, in the midst of a cross-country campaign tour that has featured a series of large rallies where attendees are not socially distanced and many eschew masks.

His attacks come amid dangerous trends for infections, deaths, and test positivity rates. The U.S. has been logging more than 50,000 infections a day, with numbers approaching mid-summer highs.

A host of reporters were on the call – a matter that Trump appeared to anticipate and brush off.

‘If there’s a reporter on, you can have it just the way I said it, I couldn’t care less,’ he said.

The New York Times and CNN were among those listening.

Trump predicted victory but said he wouldn’t have said that a few weeks ago

‘We’re going to win. I wouldn’t have told you that maybe two or three weeks ago,’ he said.

Democrats have been running up an advantage in early voting, and have built up a big fundraising advantage in recent months, but might turn out in large numbers on Election Day.

Trump says he will hold as many as five rallies a day in the home stretch of the election, where polls show him trailing Joe Biden but Trump said he now views himself as likely to win.

”Don’t feel sorry for me, don’t say, ‘How the hell does he do it?” Trump said.

He briefly jumped off the trail after being hospitalized for the coronavirus, but now says he is cured.

Fauci heads the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases – a group Fauci revealed has drastically scaled back its meetings even as the pandemic rages on.

The U.S. death toll has topped 220,000.

Trump’s call-in to his staff featured some of the same grievances as his rallies and public comments, although with sharper language. He vented that the New York Times doesn’t call him for comment, although he spoke to one of its reporters at length around the GOP convention.

‘But our people don’t read the New York Times. They couldn’t give a s*** about it,’ Trump said.

As real doctors have stated, the pcr test shows dead and live viruses which are in fact everywhere. The presence of a virus does not mean automatic illness. The next issue is , which virus as it can only be seen under an electron microscope. And color is not present under magnification of any strength. Wearing a mask is the worst thing. Of course everyone knows to wash their hands and keep away from others. Holiday season is when the flue spreads. And the test that always comes up positive will show more infections the more it is used. That is why cases are going higher but meanwhile deaths are flat lining. Most deaths from older people with other issues. Even the tests inventor did not recommend it. I find it interesting that he “died” August 2019.

Trump knew this from the beginning calling it a hoax.
So why does he still play along to some degree?

    1. Ave Milagrosa says

He referred to the Democrats’ attacks on his handling of the issue as a hoax, NOT the so-called “pandemic” itself. But the statement made by him this Monday is about the strongest i’ve seen him make. As for why he still goes along with the lockdown, remember that he is surrounded by some extremely bad people – people very close to the core conspirators (e.g. Fauci, Gates,). There will doubtless be enormous pressure applied to him to toe the line, and this pressure comes not from traditional political factions, but from the nefarious extra-governmental networks that have been planning this global operation for decades.. Gates also openly bragged about getting Trump to drop his planned investigation of vaccine safety, and to break all ties with Bobby Kennedy & Andy Wakefield. So these are the kinds of influences he has to tune out if he is going to plot an independent course. But don’t get your hopes up, because he is not exactly a rigorous thinker, nor is he especially principled.

Maybe he has a trump card or two to left to play. The man is rather inarticulate but he is businessman leader type with good instincts about people.

About damn time. Most people, I think, are starting to realize what a goddamn fraud this is. Pandemic my butt.

We don’t even have 10,000 deaths.

OMG! Is Trump’s brain actually starting to function? If so, this is big news. What happens in the United States will to a large degree determine what happens more generally around the globe (since the US is the principal base of the Reset conspirators).

      ..for how long?

      1. Ave Milagrosa says

That’s a good question, Hind. I don’ think the US will collapse completely, but the emerging global technocracy will essentially make countries in general redundant. The only thing that will matter is raw power: in other words, the technologies of surveillance and repression in a framework of medical martial law. This will be the first truly global government.

It’s probably safe to say that all Americans are tired of COVID-19 and would prefer that our government actually did enough to prevent it from getting this bad. We may be wearing masks and social distancing for years because Trump was too busy playing golf and wanted to play down the severity of the pandemic for political reasons. We can all thank Trump for making this far more painful than it ever needed to be…

    1. Saint Jimmy (Russian American) says

There is no pandemic. There never was a pandemic.

      1. glimmer says

almost no one else can see this, i don’t understand why but i will say that i had a low opinion of almost everyone & sometimes wondered if it was ‘me or them’ everyone has their intellectual strengths & weaknesses but the ability to see that ‘covid19’ is fake is an ability i really kind of wish i didn’t have cause what the hell am i going to do with it, the suffering just gets worse.

        1. Ave Milagrosa says

Actually, there is a coterie of intelligent scientists who not only deny the existence of a pandemic but also question (or outright refute) the existence of the Sars CoV-2 virus itself, on the basis that no true viral isolation (i.e. “purification”) has ever taken place. Scientists & pysicians denying the pandemic include:

Denis Rancourt, Maria José Martínez Albarracín, Heiko Schoning, Roger W. Koops, Rashid Buttar, Judy Mikovits

Scientists questioning (or denying) the putative virus itself include:

Stoian Alexov, Rosemary Frei, Patrick Corbett, Tom Cowan, Andrew Kaufman, David Rasnick, David Crowe, Jim West

So there are a lot of alternative voices out there. Key scientific critiques can be found on off-guardian.org, greenmedinfo.com, nomorefakenews.com and many others. More people are beginning to realise that it’s not a matter of a ‘mild flu’ but rather a statistical construct cut from whole cloth.

        2. Saint Jimmy (Russian American) says

Thanks for “following” me…. I think. We can all follow one another and we’ll be easy to identify and round up, if the new pack of global elites has fucked up so bad this time that their hour on the stage is over.

All of them – from the beginning of recorded history – must have a Brutus or Caligula or Lady Macbeth or Waterloo or Berlin bunker tragic, climactic scene. I’m convinced it is a Law of History. It’s just a question of how long The Fates or The Hand or Whatever You Want to Call It gives them in the spotlight, given the abilities they were born with, the time in which they were placed, and the tools available to them. Surely they know that. They don’t care, though. They’ve killed History. They ignore it and scoff at it. They’ve also killed conscience. They’ve dismissed conscience and ethics as confining “cultural constructs”. That allows them to live for the moment, ignore the bodies, and pay no heed to an ugly end or the eternal damnation of future generations.

        3. Saint Jimmy (Russian American) says

Yeah. Study history. Many strong people in every culture have found themselves in similar or worse situations through the centuries. Some died as revolutionaries, heretics, gods, or prophets. Some went into hiding and disappeared. Some went insane. A small percentage of them survived and lived to tell their tale.
