This Site Includes Satire

This site ocassionally runs satirical material. Sometimes I slap a Satire or Eritas (get it?) tag on it, but at other times I don’t as it would ruin the joke to telegraph it.

I thought it should be obvious to all some material is satirica, but I have been proven wrong by some very grumpy-sounding people, so apparently a general warning is in order for some among us.

Duffel Blog, Genesius Times and Babylon Bee in particular are satirical outlets which sometimes have material that is thematically appropriate for Checkpoint Asia and that offers valuable commentary (in a satirical and indirect way that is sometimes extremely effective).

It can be great to have a sense of humor, but I do appreciate now it’s a gift not everybody receives. Well, we all have different talents. Grumpiness for example.
