The U.S. military will move to mandate the COVID-19 vaccine for all service members now that the Pfizer vaccine has full approval from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Pentagon’s top spokesperson announced Monday.
Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin is “prepared to issue updated guidance requiring all service members to be vaccinated,” Pentagon press secretary John Kirby told reporters.
“These efforts ensure the safety of our service members and promote the readiness of our force, not to mention the health and safety of the communities around the country in which we live,” he said.
A timeline for when service members must receive the shot will be provided in the coming days, Kirby added.
The Defense Department is preparing “guidance to the force” to make the vaccine mandatory, with a timeline to be provided in the coming days, Pentagon press secretary John Kirby told reporters.
Kirby would not comment on any plans to do the same for the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines, saying that the focus right now is “moving forward to implement a mandatory vaccination regimen for Pfizer.”
“I don’t want to get ahead of decisions that haven’t been made yet,” he said.
The FDA earlier on Monday granted the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine full approval, a move that’s expected to boost vaccinations and spark more mandates nationwide.
The decision comes as the Pentagon experienced its deadliest month yet in August, with five service member deaths reported between Aug. 11 and Aug. 18 and eight in the last three weeks, according to the Defense Department’s latest numbers. [How very convenient.]
Prior to that, the department has reported one or two service member deaths monthly, with a high of four in November.
The military has reported 34 total deaths from COVID-19. [Among 1.3 million people.]
Austin earlier this month announced that he would seek the president’s approval to add the coronavirus vaccine to the Pentagon’s list of required shots by mid-September, a decision that would apply to the nation’s roughly 1.3 million service members.
The Pentagon has not previously required the COVID-19 vaccine for its personnel as it was under FDA emergency use authorization.
The U.S. military already requires 17 inoculations for its service members when they enter the military or before they deploy overseas, including for measles, mumps, diphtheria, hepatitis, smallpox and the flu.
If Austin seeks to mandate the Moderna or Johnson & Johnson vaccines before full FDA approval, he must request a waiver from President Biden. The Pentagon chief has already put the military on notice that he may go that route should infection rates rise even faster due to the highly contagious delta variant.
Kirby has previously said once the vaccine mandate is in place, “there could be administrative and disciplinary repercussions” for failing to receive it.

Vaccine rates have varied widely between the individual service branches. In July, before Austin’s announcement, the Navy led the way with more than 70 percent of its personnel fully vaccinated. At the low end, fewer than 60 percent of Marines met that criteria.

From what I gather the Fraudci Death Agency (FDA) only approved and extension of the EUA. From the documents I have seen this appears true. If it turns out true then it shows how many really research the information they put out.

First, as I recall: laws are supposed to be passed by CONGRESS – not made by Medical Bureaucrats, Military bigwigs, or Executive Orders! Why is Congress getting paid such wildly inappropriate salaries while negligent of their real work (destroying the USA economy is not their job,)
Second: True enough, there was no FDA approval of Pfizer’s EXISTING C*v*d jab – only a restatement of its emergency use….However:
there WAS a new FDA approval of a Pfeizer injection that is still in the planning stages. The Soros Echo Chamber Media took the lack of clarity and pushed their talking points with it – much to the delight of Fauci and of Pfeizer.
Within the past year Pfeizer has profited some $51Billion on human misery…Fauci may have profited even more, for all we know….

As an ex US Marine (1970s) I have to chuckle when I see today’s US military personnel. Either effeminate or a porker.
I agree! I joined the Army Infantry in August of 2002 and spent well over a decade watching our beloved military be decimated. Don’t get me wrong, there are still some Alphas but in many cases the quality of soldier has been significantly reduced. When we invaded Iraq in 2003 I was in a forward battalion and would argue that we were some of the best quality fighting men in the history of warfare. That’s about the time we started receiving cherries out of basic training who would tell us about stress cards. Apparently around 2003 if things got too stressful for you in basic training or drill sergeant was being a little too hardcore for your liking you had an out. At the beginning of basic these guys and gals were issued two yellow stress cards and could play them at any time and for them training would stop and they essentially got to go take a 15 minute break. That’s when I knew the enemy had infiltrated the upper echelon of the rank and file structure. It only got worse from there. I was medically retired in 2018 and it’s just not the Army I joined and most of the best leave because they don’t have the same solidarity that existed in the early 2000’s. Makes me sick!

Well that should work out just swimmingly, seeing as how the Australian experience has emphatically demonstrated that only the “vaccinated” get infected with the “deadly Delta variant”.
In other words, the “vaccine” is the deadly Delta variant”. It’s just as “highly contagious” as the rate you can stick needles into people.
I doubt it is the same vaccine distributed in, say, Peoria, Illinois.
Don’t bet on it.

Defense Secretary Austin’s a mass murderer, just as are Bill Gates of Hell and Anthony Falsie. Of course, the Empire will be fielding an all-injected military and will collapse as a result. None of those injected military will be able to fight against enemies; at least a third will die sooner than 2 years from the mRNA therapy.
I am pretty old. I would rather be shot in the head than in my shoulder. At least it would be a quick and painless.

FDA VACCINE APPROVAL CLARIFICATION FROM DR. ROBERT MALONE
Dr. Robert Malone, the inventor of mRNA technology, clarified what actually took place at the FDA on Monday, August 23rd, 2021. He said the Pfizer vaccine WAS NOT APPROVED by the FDA! The Pfizer vaccine is still under Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) and is actually still under the liability protection shield of the EUA.
He said the BioNTech vaccine (Comirnaty) was what was approved for people 16 years and older… and with restrictions. This vaccine has NOT been made available to the public yet. The BioNTech vaccine, Comirnaty will NOT have the same liability protection as the EUA Pfizer vaccine.
Dr. Malone said the Pfizer vaccine is still under EUA (emergency use authorization) and those saying different are not reading the documents correctly. Dr. Malone said he feels what happened at the FDA was designed to give cover for states to begin mandating the Pfizer vaccine.
As was said above, Comirnaty is NOT available to the public. So the little trick that they’ve done here is they have issued two separate letters for two separate vaccines. The Pfizer vaccine, which is what is currently available is still under emergency use authorization and still has the liability shield. Once again the main stream media has lied to us! The product that’s licensed is the BioNTech product, called Comirnaty, which is substantially similar, but not necessarily identical… and it’s NOT YET AVAILABLE! They haven’t started manufacturing it or labeling it yet…. and that’s the one the liability waiver will no longer apply to. So the one that’s actually licensed is not yet available and when it does become available it will not have the liability shield. In the interim, the one that does have the liability shield is the Pfizer product… and that’s what’s currently available… and it’s still under emergency use authorization, so there’s no change there. The press once again has either not done their homework and figured out what’s actually going on here, or they know what’s going on and are intentionally misleading the public… the latter is most probably the case. Comirnaty will not get full approval until 2023-2024, when other studies have been completed. The BLA (Biologic License Applications), in regard to the license for the BioNTech product (Comirnaty), acknowledges there are long term myocardial and pericardial issues that require a five year follow up, which is consistent with the lower range of long term follow up for gene therapy (mRNA) products. In terms of the cardiac issues, they acknowledge that the myocardial issues will require a five year follow up. But once this is in place, the FDA would then have to come back and issue an emergency use authorization for the BioNTech product (Comirnaty) for children. That clearly has not been done right now. I would imagine that what they will do is an emergency use authorization for the pediatric population for Pfizer. So that will keep Pfizer indemnified. Pfizer has been seeking full indemnification in all of their worldwide contracts with governments. They will not sell you their vaccine unless you waive liability if you’re a government, head of state or whatever. So that’s the Pfizer position! They don’t want to own the liability here, and that raises the question… what is it they’re so scared of? If these are fully safe vaccines, why does Pfizer believe it has to have liability protection?
This means the government can inject anybody with anything (including poisons etc.) – they just need to define such thing being a vaccine.
