Teachers Union Opposes Vaccine as It Might Force Teachers to Teach Again
Many are excited about the prospect of a vaccine to end the COVID-19 pandemic, but one group is adamantly opposed to the vaccine: teachers unions. Their fear is that widespread availability of the vaccine could lead to teachers once again being forced to teach.
“Teachers are too important to risk putting them anywhere near other people’s kids,” said National Education Association president Jacob Bridges. “We’re afraid that if the pandemic ends, people will think it’s once again okay to impose a grueling five-day-a-week, nine-months-a-year work schedule on teachers who frankly have better things to do.”
It has always been the stated goal of teachers unions to do the least amount of teaching for the most amount of money, with the ultimate fabled goal to get paid to not teach at all. Thanks to the pandemic, teachers have actually reached that goal with schools shutting down, but now teachers panic that the vaccine means that they will have to teach again.
Supportive politicians like Governor Andrew Cuomo are trying to assure them that it won’t happen. “We already kept schools closed despite science saying we didn’t need to,” said Cuomo. “And we will stop this vaccine. It’s time to end this tyrannical idea that one can ask anything of teachers. Teachers have the most important job in society. But you know who isn’t important? Your stupid kids. Keep them home.”

Love the Bee. We are full speed ahead to commie land. My opinion is most unions were first to arrive and of those the teachers (the term no longer fits) were in first place. As a non member of a corporation that was unionized I watched the corruption. It was funny in a way. They even wore red on Thursdays. This was back in the 90s and 2000s.
Meritocracy is definitely out in a union or communism. Today GM hires only POC. Called 1 in 10 program. In Russia they had a saying “We pretend to work, they pretend to pay us”. Nothing of any value got done and many turned to alcohol. The entire human drive to stand out and succeed was trashed for outcome based equality for all. Today the color of your skin and sex far outweighs any ability to do the job well. Doesn’t matter in a communistic system. You cannot be fired,,, in fact you don’t even have to show up. That was one of the biggest problems in the USSR.
This is where the US is at this juncture and a good chunk of the reasons are teachers indoctrinating our young to their union communistic beliefs. It’s still going on even with ‘distance school’. Amazingly enough, parents could care less as their primary reason today is a McMansion house and a fancy SUV. In debt up to their ears their children are pushed out of the way in order to pay for the material wealth they desire. Their offspring can go fish.
The fake pandemic will soon put them out of work and they will soon be totally dependent on government largess. Their children will grow up to hate them as the cowards they are.
