Russia Today Is Smaller Than at Any Time Since 1732, Still Not Small Enough for NATO
Gorbachev/Yeltsin gave up more territory in the blink of an eye than had been added by any Tsar before them
Here is a very cool dynamic map of Russian territories from 1462 to 2018, truly worth clicking: Границы России 1462-2018 гг
And here is the neat accompanying video animation of progression through the years:
Dark green — Russia proper
Light green — Russian dependencies
Blue — disputed
Gray — temporarily occupied
A pair of infographics to go along with that:
Gross Russian territory over time:
Russia is smaller than at any time since 1732.
Territories gained/lost by each ruler:
Biggest gainers: Mikhail Romanov and his son Alexis of Russia who presided over the addition of Siberia from 1613 to 1676.
Gorbachev and Yeltsin gave up more territory in 1991 than had been added by Mikhail Romanov.
Any other example of a country that gives up 250 years of territorial gains without a fight and in the blink of an eye? Any other example of a country that gives up 250 years of territorial gains without a fight and in the blink of an eye, and then continues to be demonized and continues to be targeted for “containment”?
Russia is still a huge country, takes forever to invade it. Several have tried and failed. Stalin regained territory that Lenin took from the Russians. Finally by dissolving the USSR Russia returned to Russia and to hell with the rest of those republics within their “empire”. When Stalin’s army stopped in Ukraine somewhere, retaking land that was once polish, etc, , again, they gotta put up with more as##holes and mouths to feed.
Once a country is on the United Authoritarian States of America`s shit list, it pretty much remains on the list permanently.
Zionist USrael cannot handle its own colonies anymore…
