Putin Raises Alarm Over Potential NATO Military Bases in Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin said during his annual Q&A session on Wednesday that he was deeply concerned over the military exploitation of Ukrainian territory by Western countries.
“I am concerned over another, more fundamental thing, namely that the military exploitation of Ukrainian territory is starting to unfold,” Putin emphasized.
As the Russian leader stressed, the Ukrainian Constitution disallows the presence of foreign military bases there.
That being said, the Ukrainian Fundamental Law (Constitution) does permit the establishment of training centers or some other forms of cooperation in the military sphere, the head of state noted.
“However, the military exploitation of the territory that directly borders on our country, this process creates considerable security problems for us. This now concerns the vital interests of the Russian Federation and the people of Russia,” Putin highlighted.
“This is what raises our concern and we must think about that,” the Russian leader said, pointing out that this is not at all about attempts to ‘take digs” at Russia by any means.

Putin will continue to wait on the Empire to collapse. If Putin does nothing the Empire will be firmly established on Russia’s border when it enters its death throes, and lashes out at everything. With the standoff distance between NATO, and Moscow becoming so close the only defense Moscow will have is a first strike. Putin had better stop this now.
