Mild or Asymptomatic Cases Account For Nearly Half of US COVID Hospitalizations

Most sensible people understand by now that a “coronavirus case” doesn’t really mean anything. Here are some examples of a “Covid-19 infection”:

• A 90-year-old who develops cold-like symptoms before dying from old age, lonely and forgotten, in a urine-stained corner of a dilapidated nursing home.
• Someone with stage-eight cancer in every organ of their body who tests positive after being rushed to the ICU.
• A perfectly healthy teenager who dips their test swab in lemon juice so that he/she/it can stay home from school and play Minecraft for two weeks.

Et cetera. Some people even say that our most basic human rights and freedoms are being shredded by governments as they valiantly fight an Endless Casedemic intentionally designed to continue forever, thanks to blatantly manipulated data. The people who say this are correct.

But as it turns out, Covid Hospitalizations – a dreaded phrase that is supposed to fill your noodle with harrowing images of intubated toddlers – are also rather deceptive. 

A fancy study carried out by researchers from Harvard Medical School, Tufts Medical Center, and the Veterans Affairs Healthcare System discovered that almost 50% of Covid patients have mild or non-existent Covid symptoms – absolutely remarkable when you consider that basically “feeling slightly unwell” is considered a Covid symptom: 

The study found that from March 2020 through early January 2021—before vaccination was widespread, and before the Delta variant had arrived—the proportion of patients with mild or asymptomatic disease was 36 percent. From mid-January through the end of June 2021, however, that number rose to 48 percent. In other words, the study suggests that roughly half of all the hospitalized patients showing up on COVID-data dashboards in 2021 may have been admitted for another reason entirely, or had only a mild presentation of disease.

This increase was even bigger for vaccinated hospital patients, of whom 57 percent had mild or asymptomatic disease. But unvaccinated patients have also been showing up with less severe symptoms, on average, than earlier in the pandemic: The study found that 45 percent of their cases were mild or asymptomatic since January 21.

In other words: A huge proportion of Covid “patients” are people who seek medical treatment for totally unrelated ailments, and then later test positive while languishing in the hospital. This is also true in England:

The figures suggest vast numbers are being classed as hospitalised by Covid when they were admitted with other ailments, with the virus picked up by routine testing.

Experts said it meant the national statistics, published daily on the government website and frequently referred to by ministers, may far overstate the levels of pressures on the NHS.

The leaked data – covering all NHS trusts in England – show that, as of last Thursday, just 44 per cent of patients classed as being hospitalised with Covid had tested positive by the time they were admitted.

The majority of cases were not detected until patients underwent standard Covid tests, carried out on everyone admitted to hospital for any reason. 

Overall, 56 per cent of Covid hospitalisations fell into this category, the data, seen by The Telegraph, show. 

It’s the same everywhere, probably. Probably right now your government is demanding that you get a Covid-19 vaccine that has no proven long-term efficacy and doesn’t stop transmission. But you must get this injection to protect the hospitals, which are being overrun by diabetics and heart attack victims, as usual.
