This is really interesting. The only reason you would be declining an unnecessary novel medical intervention is political. That is, you’re being stubborn and want to make a political statement.

You’ve got folks who are not in the risk groups getting an injection that didn’t exist a year ago. These folks are not making a political statement. Many of them also demand everyone else follow suit, or they’ll throw a tantrum. That is also not a political stance.
On the other hand, the folks who just want to be left the hell alone — that’s political.
If you’re not at risk and asymptomatic spread does not drive outbreaks (as Fauci himself explained), then what else is vaccination other than a performative act to signal virtue and conformity? A risky performative act since the long-term effects of the vaccine can not yet be known.
Yes, a refusal to follow suit is also ‘political’ if it is political to:
1. Refuse to have your intelligence insulted.
You do not subject healthy, not-at-risk people to medical interventions that are at best pointless. It simply is not done. It doesn’t make sense and prior to March 2020, nobody believed that it does. Asking you to undergo at best a pointless medical intervention means INSULTING YOUR INTELLIGENCE.
2. Refuse to bend to the herd no matter how loud and obnoxious it is.
Fuck the herd. The herd is for the weak, the feebleminded, and the insecure. It is composed of the dumb, the suggestible, and the pathetic. The weak, the cowardly, and the worthless. In this life, what we do not have much control over are outcomes in the greater world. We’re too small and insignificant. The roles of chance and of circumstance are too great by comparison. What we do have absolute control over are our honor and dignity. Do we preserve them or throw them away. To run with a herd, to subject yourself to an unnecessary novel medical intervention based on new technologies just to show compliance with the mass is only for those who never had any dignity to preserve in the first place. For those who part with it as readily as a harlot parts with virtue. For those who would happily roll in the mud for their masters for a bowl of slot, and a pat on the back.
It is not surprising then that declining to do so is irritating to your political overlords. They do love their servile swine.
So irritating in fact that your refusal to copy them strikes them as “political”.
That’s right Fauci, it’s a big fuck-you to you and your ilk. No matter how many of the imbeciles you get to prostrate themselves before you with a totally superfluous medical intervention…there are still people of dignity and honor whose intelligence you will never be able to insult.
