Turkish strike drone deliveries to Ukraine may destabilize Donbass situation — Kremlin

MOSCOW, October 27. /TASS/. The deliveries of Turkish strike drones to Ukraine may destabilize the situation at the contact line in the Donbass region, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Wednesday.

“We really have special and good relations with Turkey but this case, unfortunately, confirms our concerns that the deliveries of such armaments to the Ukrainian military may potentially destabilize the situation at the engagement line,” the Russian presidential spokesman said, responding to a request to comment on the use of Turkish strike drones by the Ukrainian armed forces.

“We see that as soon as these armaments fall into the hands of the military, they potentially may be used in that area in Ukraine and this only destabilizes the situation,” Peskov pointed out.

As the Kremlin spokesman stressed, “this does not contribute to settling this intra-Ukrainian problem.”

Russia’s relations with Turkey seen as example of constructive ties with NATO — Peskov

MOSCOW, July 4. /TASS/. Relations between Russia and Turkey are an example of how constructive ties with NATO countries can be built, Russian president’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov said on Sunday.

“Indeed, Turkey is a NATO nation but, concurrently, our relations with Turkey are an example showing that partner relations can and must be built even with NATO countries, in the person of Turkey,” he said in an interview with the Rossiya-1 television channel.

The Russian government has forgot one of the basic principles of Russian diplomacy.
Never trust a Turk!

Russians aren’t stupid they are well aware of who the Turks are. “Keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer.”

Sure, the average Russian, but apparently the Russian government has forgotten.
Most likely on purpose.

And in Sevastopol, Crimea there is an entire museum, dedicated to the saying you just wrote. A Naval museum that has a great display of artifacts that date back to all the Russo- Turkish wars.

http://thesaker.is/why-i-see-a-war-in-the-donbass-as-almost-inevitable/

Over and over I said on the Junkyard of the Faker that Russia could and should have crushed the Ukranazi coup regime in 2014, taken Kiev, reinstalled Yanukovych, and withdrawn with the promise that if there was any more attempt at a Maidan Russia would be back and this time to stay. I was over and over called a “troll” for pointing out the obvious, that is, that the Ukranazis are getting more and more entrenched and are now a de facto NATO satrapy, and that the choice the Putinist regime faces now is a much bloodier and politically damaging war than it would have had in 2014. And yet it is the same Faker, Andrei Raevsky, who told me to take my comments elsewhere who’s echoing what I said then. How interesting.

Russia still thought the USA was a rational actor back then. Hopefully, they now realize the USA government is a group of sociopaths scheming to steal whatever they can while in power—from anyone, domestic or foreign, everyone is a target.

Turkey is no threat to Russia—like amerikans they over reach and are exhausting themselves in Syria and Libya. They are more dependent on Russia today having irritated France, USA, Greece, Egypt, Germany, etc
