“Get Out!”: Crowd Chants Lockdown Nazis Out of Canadian Restaurant Defying the Mind Virus Cult — VIDEO

Grateful customers back the heroic owner

The owner of a Vancouver restaurant is vowing to continue defying a provincial health order banning indoor dining for three weeks, despite being served with an individual order to close.

Vancouver police said a liquor coordinator and provincial health officers attended Corduroy Restaurant on Cornwall Avenue, Saturday and issued a full closure order.

But the restaurant remained open to diners when Global News attended Saturday night, and on its Instagram page, the restaurant says it plans to reopen on Tuesday, after closing for Easter and because it had run out of food.

Video posted to Facebook on Saturday showed what appeared to be staff with Vancouver Coastal Health attending to speak with Corduroy owner Rebecca Matthews.

In the video, Matthews, who is unmasked and has an infant strapped to her chest, tells the inspectors she does not recognize their jurisdiction and that they are trespassing.

Diners at the packed restaurant then join into a chant of “Get out! Get out!” prompting the health officials to leave to cheers from the crowd.

Vancouver police referred questions to Vancouver Coastal Health and provincial officials.

In a statement, Vancouver Coastal Health said “any alleged violations of closure orders are taken very seriously and are thoroughly investigated.”

Asked about the apparent lack of enforcement, Health Minister Adrian Dix said action was being taken Sunday.

“I’m frustrated with the behaviour here,” he said. “No one misunderstands the rules.”

“We are enforcing that closure order, and it is being enforced right now, and it will be enforced.”

B.C. banned indoor dining for three weeks last Monday, as a part of a [demonstration of power / ritual commanded by their diseased minds] “circuit breaker” meant to curb a third wave of COVID-19 infection.

Under B.C.’s COVID-19 heath orders and the COVID-19 Related Measures Act, a business can be fined $2,300 while individuals can be fined $575 for infractions related to non-compliant social gatherings.

There is also a separate fine for belligerent behaviour related to enforcement of COVID-19 orders.

Public Safety Minister Mike Farnworth described restaurant non-compliance as “disgraceful” on Saturday, given the recent surge in cases and growing spread of the more dangerous COVID-19 variants.

Farnworth said on top of fines, businesses could also see their liquor or business licences pulled.

On Saturday, Matthews told Global News the province was being unfair by targeting restaurants but allowing other businesses to stay open, and that she relies on the business to feed her family.

Matthews said she expected to face enforcement of some kind, but would stay open as long as she could.

She also said she did not see a difference between indoor and outdoor dining. Medical experts are in wide agreement that COVID-19 spreads best in indoor environments. [Shall it spread from healthy people??]

At a “save small business” rally on Friday, Matthews questioned the reliability of COVID-19 testing and called for the end of restrictions she said were doing more harm than the virus.

It doesn’t take much. Just defy their illegal orders. They’re illegal no matter how many pieces of paper they come up with,,, even if the pig judge comes himself!

When they make an obvious unjust law,,, ignore it. It’s not law. It’s tyranny.

People are getting fed up with the diktat of the public-health Nazis, and their bleating that they are ‘only trying to keep us safe’. But it’s too late, sadly, and the warm, friendly country I grew up in is gone forever. I daresay it is the same for a lot of people in other countries, and the chaos merchants must be coming in their pants at the scale of their success. Comments on Corduroy’s Facebook page, such as ‘You’ll never open again’ and ‘boycott’ and hopes that all the Covidiots who attended will quickly die of Covid are symptomatic of the fellow citizens I never knew were there, the self-righteous enablers of government heavy-handedness. I would not cross the street to spit on them if they were on fire. Any hope of ‘post-Covid unity’ is dead at the starting gate, even if it all ended tomorrow. Now it’s us, and them, and it always will be.

That guy is a hero. And he’s right – public-health authorities are out of control, drunk with power. But always remember, it is government that granted public-health authorities the mandate to issue health orders which do have the weight of law. Government would rather let the health Nazis take the ball and run with it, and it is government that wets its pants whenever public health rolls out its latest ‘case numbers’. Government which is not fit to govern, if you take my meaning, and that is true worldwide with the rare exceptions of individual states which have opted to not be ruled by fear. The restaurant owner is right to take the fight straight to government, because government is standing back and giving public health free rein.

Faith in government and the medical authorities has collapsed, and things are very, very close to going south. And the hatred on display against ‘Covidiots’ from those who are grooving on fear porn is something to behold. There goes any regard I might have had for humanity as a whole. Wherever governments feel like trying a little witch-burning, their coaxing and wedging find fertile ground. Us and them. Don’t forget it. Because we’re seeing a daily display of what the world is really made of. And after it’s over, the politicians are going to come around glad-handing, talking healing, talking unity. Count on it. Because it’s what they do.

The communists will never stop. They will not be happy until everyone is being tortured in their Gulags. The order followers will have to taken out.
“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?… The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If…if…We didn’t love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation…. We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.”
