Fauci: Wear Goggles to Prevent Spread of Covid-19

Dr. Anthony Fauci suggested Wednesday that Americans should consider wearing goggles or a face shield in order to prevent spreading or catching COVID-19.
“If you have goggles or an eye shield, you should use it,” the nation’s top infectious disease expert told ABC News Chief Medical Correspondent Dr. Jennifer Ashton during an Instagram Live conversation on ABC News.
When asked if we’re going to get to a point where eye protection is recommended, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases responded, “It might, if you really want perfect protection of the mucosal surfaces.”
“You have mucosa in the nose, mucosa in the mouth, but you also have mucosa in the eye,” he continued. “Theoretically, you should protect all the mucosal surfaces. So if you have goggles or an eye shield you should use it.”
He noted that goggles and eye or face shields are “not universally recommended” at this time, “but if you really want to be complete, you should probably use it if you can.”

Fauci looks ahead to flu season
As the summer transitions into the fall, Fauci also discussed the oncoming flu season.
Fauci said he hopes wearing masks will help limit the spread of influenza as well.
“It is inevitable that we’re going to have some degree of flu,” he said. “I’m hoping that the wearing of masks and other coverings are going to not only protect us against COVID-19, but also help protect us against influenza.”
He said two circulating respiratory viruses really “confuses the situation” since symptoms of the novel coronavirus and flu are so similar.
“Go out there and get your flu shot when the flu vaccine becomes available,” he urged.

Uncontrolled capitalism and rampant greed and selfishness, combined with a hugely expensive, unnecessary and brutal military began to hollow out the US and plunder and degrade “the commons” during the 1980s. Both parties were essentially purchased by wall street, mega-corporations, and oligarchs during the 1990s and that killed democracy and allowed them to essentially capture most federal agencies, de-regulate and control the media, and direct all foreign wars and foreign policy not for the benefit or protection of the American people but for their own goddamn greed and enrichment. “Political correctness” and racial and religious tensions and fake issues were pushed on Americans to keep them divided and to obscure the truth. We are now witnessing the final act – the oligarchical consolidation of power over a now poorly educated, dumbed down, confused, frightened citizenry. Not one elite or any of the politicians they own give one damn what happens to this country from here forward. They have stolen the last of the money and thrown us a few peanuts to pacify us in the short term and maintain the illusion that they care. They don’t care. Democracy is dead in the US. Imperialist capitalism is also dead. It’s all downhill from here.

Yeah. Ideally, what all nobility, dictators, emperors, and oligarchs in history have desired is a narrowly educated, provincial, technically competent, fearful, insecure, xenophobic, and generally ignorant citizenry.
The difference is that America and its government is based on the principle that it is a government run by the people and till the late 1960’s Americans were educated enough to defend their rights and support policies that improved their lives. So what the elite did was to deliberately dumb down the America population so that they cannot make any decision and rely on the elite to tell them what to do while claiming that the people made these decisions on their own free will. It is the most diabolical act on America which had so much going for it.
What the elite did was BRIBE THE FUCKING POLITICAL PARTIES – BOTH OF THEM. Raegan was a senile fool. The Clintons are complete frauds and criminals….. BOTH PARTIES ARE THOROUGHLY CORRUPTED.
