Fauci Explains to NYT His Job Is Public Manipulation, Not Science

Con man Fauci drops a Christmas bombshell

Editor’s note: And he’s still lying. The reason he is moving to claiming it will take 90 percent has nothing to do with hesitancy falling, but just the opposite — the realization of the powers that be just how high “hesitancy” is.

Recently, a figure to whom millions of Americans look for guidance — Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, an adviser to both the Trump administration and the incoming Biden administration — has begun incrementally raising his herd-immunity estimate.

In the pandemic’s early days, Dr. Fauci tended to cite the same 60 to 70 percent estimate that most experts did. About a month ago, he began saying “70, 75 percent” in television interviews. And last week, in an interview with CNBC News, he said “75, 80, 85 percent” and “75 to 80-plus percent.”

In a telephone interview…Dr. Fauci acknowledged that he had slowly but deliberately been moving the goal posts. He is doing so, he said, partly based on new science, and partly on his gut feeling that the country is finally ready to hear what he really thinks.

Hard as it may be to hear, he said, he believes that it may take close to 90 percent immunity to bring the virus to a halt — almost as much as is needed to stop a measles outbreak…

Dr. Fauci said that weeks ago, he had hesitated to publicly raise his estimate because many Americans seemed hesitant about vaccines, which they would need to accept almost universally in order for the country to achieve herd immunity…

Now that some polls are showing that many more Americans are ready, even eager, for vaccines, he said he felt he could deliver the tough message that the return to normal might take longer than anticipated.

“When polls said only about half of all Americans would take a vaccine, I was saying herd immunity would take 70 to 75 percent,” Dr. Fauci said. “Then, when newer surveys said 60 percent or more would take it, I thought, ‘I can nudge this up a bit,’ so I went to 80, 85.”

“We need to have some humility here,” he added. “We really don’t know what the real number is. I think the real range is somewhere between 70 to 90 percent. But, I’m not going to say 90 percent.”

Doing so might be discouraging to Americans, he said, because he is not sure there will be enough voluntary acceptance of vaccines to reach that goal.

Thanks to people like Fauci and organizations like the WHO, we are living in a post-truth era.

Fauci has been lying for 35+ years, regardless of what kind of deceit the WHO has been engaging in. He has always been the one who should be required to wear a muzzle at all times.

Those of us who managed to survive the Swine flu vaccine in 1976 would see any vaccine mandate as a call for execution by lethal injection.

In the 16th century, the first microscopes were invented. (This invention took place in parallel
with that of telescopes, which opened the way to another great fraud, that one
astronomy, which deserves a separate discussion …). Over time the microscopes
they increased their magnifying power, until it was possible to observe both the cells
constituting living organisms, and the various symbiont microorganisms. It was thought therefore, too
here, to make the usual arbitrary and extremely functional subdivision of power: some
microorganisms were classified as “good” and others as “bad”, ie carriers of
illnesses. The generic and immaterial concept of contagion therefore found its concrete and material application. It only needed to prove that these evil bacteria caused disease, and there it was.

Smoking was supposed to be good for people, then it was supposed to be bad, then it was supposed to be terrible, and smokers were ostracized, but they didn’t stop selling cigarettes. Both of my grandfathers, my father, and my stepfather died of COPD. Asbestos was supposed to be good for people because it stimulated the lungs. My father in law, and his brother, both miners, died of mesothelioma. Agent Orange was supposed to be harmless to humans, and kill only plants. Agent Orange has already kill ten of thousands of my fellow Vietnam vets, and millions of Vietnamese. I did 3 tours in ‘Nam, and I’m dying of Agent Orange related diabetes, and heart issues. Considering Americas history of using “harmless” chemical compounds to protect the population from real, and fantasy hazards do the lunatic fools who run this clown act of a nation really expect me to take an unproven, unnecessary, genetically engineered vaccine that will protect me from a propaganda created threat that doesn’t exist ?? Really ??

    1. itchyvet says

As one vet to another, why even consider taking this crappy ALLEGED vaccine ?? If your already suffering from medical issues, they way I understand it, you shouldn’t take the vaccine, as they have no idea of how it’s going to go with your existing issues. For me, and my money, they can take this vaccine an shove it where the sun don’t shine, I’ll take my chances, not looking forwards to getting too old anyway. L.O.L.

I support Dr. Fauci. He is playing to public perceptions to an extent, and as a professional is trying to educate the public in the best way he can without them shutting him down.
With the US public so skeptical, and often lack of support even from the Administration, and the various states, he has a very difficult job.

Everybody has an opinion in the US and many do not want to act for the common good. You know, after children all get 14 vaccines before 6 years old to prevent many diseases (Measles, mumps, Rubella, hepatitis A and B, polio and on and on) it is mind boggling to see so many doubters. It is kind of like half the US thinking the world is not round, or the earth is only 11,000 years old.

  10. The Globalist says

Looking at the skepticism on this site, perhaps it is best that the world closes itself off to US travelers and we come back when it is all over in 2 or 3 years. We definitely do not want millions of infected people coming into Canada.
