Dmitry Peskov: Don’t Like Vaccinations? Quit Your Job
The Kremlin explains vaccination is "not compulsory", because you can always quit your job, or get out of Moscow
Vaccination in the service sector in Moscow is not compulsory, but voluntary, since a person who has fallen under the requirement for compulsory vaccination can change jobs, said presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov, RBC correspondent reports.
Such a person should simply stop working in the service sector, Peskov added. “We have already said that if a Muscovite works in the service sector, and he has to get vaccinated, and he has made a decision not to do this vaccination for himself, he just has to stop working in the service sector. And if he wants, he will look for a job in another place, which is not connected with those areas where the mandatory presence of vaccinations is imputed, ”he explained.
Stayed tuned for next week where Peskov explains Kremlin’s position that nobody has to suffer rape if only they will just enjoy it.
A person X wants to serve people beers for money. A person Y is willing to be served by X and to pay him albeit X is not vaccinated. But now a stranger Z comes in demanding that X vaccinates or else Z will prevent X from serving Y. But dare not call this compulsory vaccination because if X doesn’t like it he can always get the hell out of Moscow.
Sure there are always ways of avoiding something. Taxes are also “not compulsory” because you can always get a machinegun and go down in a glorious last stand rather than pay another dime. But the point is, what is anyone’s business how X and Y handle their voluntary interactions? Where does Z get the right to demand X injects himself if he is to keep his business, work, or place of residence?
