What a relief it is to know there is no need to think about any of these things. It’s all very simple. If the US says it’s a coup it is — and if the US says it isn’t a coup it isn’t. There isn’t any need to think for yourself — the US cannot ever be wrong, because it is its very words and recognition that determine if someone is a putschist or not. And why not, as Rome is the seat of Catholicism and thus its proclamation that a king is outside Catholicism would make it so, so Washington is the Imperial city. Of course it gets to excommunicate Presidents making coups against them not crimes but holy duty to the Empire.
