Hilarious stuff there from the MSM (The Daily Mail):
Hundreds of anti-vaccination protesters chanted ‘lest we forget’ as they marched on Melbourne’s war memorial where they set up camp in the hope police wouldn’t fire on them out of respect for fallen Anzacs.
Dozens of officers completely surrounded the protesters and prepared for a gas attack to flush them out while the demonstrators shouted ‘join us’ at the police and also sang the national anthem.
You would think that if citizens can not rally in protest because they will be shot at with rubber bullets and are thus driven to seek shelter at a “sacred shrine,” that the disgrace would fall on the government and the police, not the repressed citizens.
In fact, despite the alleged “sacred” character of the war memorial the police did eventually come at them with salvos of rubber bullets even there, and then proceeded to chase them through the city, shooting them in the back as they fled.
The cult-backing regime toadies then dutifully feinted outrage all day long given cover by this professional mourner:
And this astroturf plant:
Please, spare me your crocodile tears. When has anything been sacred to the COVID cult? We’re talking people who have interfered with funerals, with visitations of dying family members, and with the normal functioning of churches, synagogs, and mosques, and the dispensation of holy sacraments. Suddenly a war memorial is sacred to these people? Yeah right, let’s be serious here for a moment.
Nothing is sacred to them but the rituals of their new demented mind-virus religion, that is precisely the problem here. The reality here is that the blasphemy the protesters are really guilty of and that is actually so infuriating to regime toadies is their heresy on the holy vaccine and the sacred mask and lockdown. Their supposed disrespect of a “sacred shrine” is just ammunition that can be used against them, but is by no means at the center of what is actually driving the fury against them.
Do you see disrespect here? I don’t see disrespect here. All the more so since I suspect that the soldiers who shipped out in 1914 were in class background, mannerism and character far closer to these construction workers, than to the Zoom zombies feinting outrage from their COVID bubbles at home.
What I see are people who have been hounded across a city, and have fled to the one place that might give the pursuers pause and offer temporary relief:
In a bit of good news however — while Victoria has opted for repression and cracking heads — New Southern Wales has capitulated to a number of construction worker demands:
The NSW construction industry will return to 100 per cent capacity in just under a week, the state government has announced.
From Monday, September 27 the rule limiting construction sites to 50 per cent capacity if they have any unvaccinated workers will be removed.
All constructions sites will be able to have one person per four square metres even if unvaccinated workers are present.
Guess the Melbourne protests are working after all, except they’re working in Sydney as the Victoria government doesn’t want them to spread.
