Died at Home Because You Were Too Scared to Go to the Hospital? You’re Probably a COVID Victim, New York City Decrees

The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene has a big announcement:

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) and the NYC Health Department are working together to include into their reports deaths that may be linked to COVID but not lab-confirmed that occur at home

In layman’s terms, this means that the body count in New York City will surge because it will include people who keeled over at home without any testing or diagnosis. The only requirement for being counted as a COVID fatality? The death must somehow be “linked” to COVID. This is very complex medical lingo.

So what’s the big deal? some might ask. As the Daily Beast notes, “256 people were pronounced dead at home across the five boroughs” earlier this week, a huge increase from the 25 people who die at home in the city on any given day. Clearly the COVID pandemic is responsible for most of these excess deaths?

Probably, but not in the way the media is framing it. A shocking piece recently penned by a physician for the New York Times details how patients with heart attacks and stroke are “missing” from hospitals all over the United States (and the world):

What is striking is that many of the emergencies have disappeared. Heart attack and stroke teams, always poised to rush in and save lives, are mostly idle. This is not just at my hospital. My fellow cardiologists have shared with me that their cardiology consultations have shrunk, except those related to Covid-19. In an informal Twitter poll by @angioplastyorg, an online community of cardiologists, almost half of the respondents reported that they are seeing a 40 percent to 60 percent reduction in admissions for heart attacks; about 20 percent reported more than a 60 percent reduction.

And it may not just be heart attacks and strokesColleagues on Twitter report a decline in many other emergencies, including acute appendicitis and acute gall bladder disease.

The most concerning possible explanation is that people stay home and suffer rather than risk coming to the hospital and getting infected with coronavirus.

The new body count policy was announced on April 8. A day later:

Here is an article that shows how the CDC is skewing the American COVID-19 body count:

Thanks to lax reporting by the media, we have no context in which to better understand the massive volume of data about the current pandemic, meaning that we have no idea of whether the number of reported deaths in the United States is false or misleading.

The fix is in. Rather than be exposed the the liars and destroyers of the economy that they are, they’ll simply lie about the figures. Even at that, they’ll still be way short of what Fauci and the Hag predicted.
