China Slams West for Interference in Russia’s Affairs

Some Western countries’ position and actions in relation to anti-government protests in Moscow may be considered as interference in Russia’s domestic affairs, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Geng Shuang said at a briefing on Tuesday.

“We support the position of Russia’s authorities,” he said. “It is an example of interference in Russia’s domestic politics, which points to [the West’s] hegemonic claims,” the Chinese diplomat pointed out.

According to Geng Shuang, the measures that the Russian government has taken to improve the situation in Moscow are totally legal. “It is alarming that in this situation, certain Western countries spring out of nowhere and take malign actions,” he emphasized.

The August 10 rally was the fourth one conducted in support of independent candidates barred from running for the Moscow City Council. The previous rallies were held on July 20 and 27, as well as on August 3. Only the first one of them had been authorized by the Moscow Mayor’s Office.

According to Moscow police, about 600 people were detained in Moscow for participating in the August 3 unauthorized rally. On July 27, over 1,000 protesters were detained. Ahead of the rallies, authorities issued warnings saying that violations of law would lead to liability. The Russian Investigative Committee opened a riots case following the rallies. As many as 13 people have been arrested under the case.

if you still believe in Trump, well guess what he did today (most likely these was agreed up on when he called the big banks when the market was down 800 pts) . He basically removed the teeth out of the Volcker Rule (look it up). This rules does NOT allow wall street banks to use their own balance sheet or their costumers funds to make speculative bets on the market. You see the Central banks ans Wall street banks know what is coming sown the pipe. Hedge accordingly

What happens in Russia and China stays in Russia and China!
And the US is following their playbook step by step…soon it will be a police state through and through…it’s more than half way there already. So, US shut the f up and tend to your own business ..like trying to help the environment – and the infrastructure of your own country….NO? You’d rather war against other countries to get their oil and your own hegemonic goals? Well, prepare to die.

Sad but true. Bakunin would say that that was all Empire, and that the Russian people had no interest in such a game, same as Americans have no interest in what the US does.

Just a question of how to make a stable government that works in the interests of the people, which is basically peaceful development. The constitution failed (however noble the aim), and it seems Russia is only being reasonable now because a populist (someone who listens to their populace) Putin managed to sneak in because Yeltsin did a MacBeth.
